Dhatu proudly recommends using “Relieve” – Eco Friendly sanitary napkins. This low cost pads are manufactured right here in Mysore by Mrs Soumya. She is inspired by the famous Arunachalam Muruganantham (also known as Padman!) who invented low cost sanitary pad making machines. The same machine developed by Padman is used here in Mysore to produce these sanitary napkins.

Why not use commercially available Sanitary napkins?
All commercially available sanitary napkins are made from plastic and are loaded with chemicals (like harmful phthalates and Volatile Organic Carbons, known as VOCs). When used internally, the chemicals from these pads find their way directly to the bloodstream. Other pollutants found in tampons are dioxins, furans and pesticide reside.
