Ingredients
- 100 g Mung Beans
- 20 g Jaggery
- 200 ml Water
- 500 ml Milk
- 2 pods Cardamom
- 1 tbsp Ghee (opt for A2 Ghee, if you can)
- 5 pcs Cashew
- 5 pcs Raisin
Instructions
- Roasting Mung Beans: Roast the mung beans in low flame in a pan until you can smell the sweet aroma of the mung beans. Be careful not to burn the beans. Cool the beans and use a grinder to powder the beans to coarse texture.
- Cooking: Take the water in a pan and add mung powder. In a low flame, bring the mixture to boil (about 5 min). Add jaggery and milk to this, and cook for 3-5 min more.
- Garnishing: Roast cashews and raisins in ghee separately and add to the above preparation. Add cardamom powder and mix well. Serve hot or cold.
